Sierra Roussos, Director


MS in Education, New York University. BS in Education, Indiana University. Child Development Credential, Non-Formal Project, Monroe County, Indiana.


Sierra started a home day care program with her husband Daniel when their two children were young in hopes of bringing a bi-lingual early childhood program to Bloomington. They grew that program into an early childhood center, Bloomington Center for Global Children, where Sierra worked as the Director until joining the community at St. Mark's in 2015. Sierra is a very active advocate for young children and helped refound the local NAEYC chapter, SCIAEYC, here in Bloomington in 2012. She has served as chapter Member Chair, Vice President, and is the current President.

In her work as Director, Sierra is grateful to be working with children, teachers, and families. She feels honored to be able to support and be a part of the lives of all the people that make up the amazing community at St. Mary's Nursery and Kindergarten.
