Our project-based, play-based, NAEYC accredited program uses a child-centered, emergent curriculum. We meet and exceed the Indiana State standards using our project work, centers, and small and large group time.
An emergent curriculum is decided by the children’s interests as they occur. We work with the children at the beginning of the year to decide upon a topic of inquiry. When we decide this, much of our learning revolves around that topic of interest. We extend our project to last until interest wanes.
